Identity and packaging for a jazz-and-rhythm cannabis brand for New York. A leaning, hand-cut wordmark in Velvet Indigo and Cherry Heat, a brandmark that folds a treble clef into the letter J, and a clef system that marks the strain type as notation instead of a word. Two lines run off it: the Duet Snap Mag vaporizer — 1 g halves that pair on magnets — and The Juke Box, a tin die-cut to a jukebox that slides out six mini pre-rolls.
Jive is a cannabis brand built on rhythm — a curated line-up of strains and consumables for the Saturday-morning stroll and the long, silent evening alike. The pitch is quality and convenience: paired strains in the vaporizers, indoor-grown flower hand-rolled for the tins.
The identity takes the spirit of jazz without the clichés — structure underneath, improvisation in the type, colour that is unexpected but harmonious. It’s really all that jazz.

The wordmark is cut from flat, angular letters that lean like they are already moving, with a Yellowtail script Wanna riding the crossbar. The brandmark merges a treble clef with the letter J; a single-tone version keeps the clef and the letterform apart.
Clefs do the sorting across the range — bass for indica, treble for hybrid, alto for sativa — so the strain type reads as notation rather than a word. Display type is Obviously, stretched and squished the way a jazz phrase bends; the script is Yellowtail.

Each Duet Snap Mag is a 1 g single-strain half — Strawberry Gelato in Cherry Heat, Northern Lights in green, Sour Tangie in orange — with a magnet in the spine so two snap into one device. Enjoy together or separately.
The carton is a slide drawer. The inner sleeve makes the pitch — two strains at the same time — before the device is out of the box, and the side panels carry the clef, the strain and an energising-to-calming dial.

The tin is die-cut to the silhouette of a jukebox — domed arch, banded pilasters, a lit display window above the wordmark. Squeeze the sides and the drawer slides out of the base.
Inside, six 0.5 g mini pre-rolls, 3 g in all, each tipped in Cherry Heat and stamped with the clef J. The back carries the backing-track line in a burst and the New York compliance panel.

A Velvet Indigo tee with the badge on the chest and the backing-track line across the back. Lighters in Cherry Heat — the clef J on one, the wordmark on the other.

A poster run in three panels — a duotone portrait, the line set in Obviously and Yellowtail, and a clef drawn in smoke.
